Depo Provera Lawsuit due to Brain Tumours

One of my biggest frustrations is seeing how many contraceptives have been released by companies such as Phizer, which are dangerous to female health. Often they willingly release them, despite knowing there are issues, or are slow to recall them off the market even when they are proven to be dangerous.
Brain tumours called meningioma's are being caused by Depo Provera use, see below for the research link from BNJ.
They found that prolonged use (more than 12 months) of medrogestone, medroxyprogesterone acetate, and promegestone used in contraceptives, was found to increase the risk of intracranial meningioma by 5.6%.
Researchers collected data from the national healthcare system in France and identified a total of 18,061 women who underwent surgery to remove a specific type of brain tumor. These women were compared with a control group, so it was a large study.
Other contraceptive devices that are concerning include the Mirena, which increases weight gain, depression and the suicide rate. It seems that the synthetic progesterone doesn't clear well out of the brain leading to neurodegenerative issues, and a warped sense of self.
So what is the alternative? For years I've primarily relied on Natural Fertility to keep me safe from pregnancies. If you would like to learn more about this then please contact me - there are safe alternatives!
Shine bright,
Nic
