Why I’m So Passionate About Working with Women

This might surprise some people - but I’ve lived a wide and varied life.

As a young girl, I experienced paternal abandonment and feminine jealousy and power dynamics that left me feeling not enough, abandoned, and unsure of my worth. That shaped years of people-pleasing, weak boundaries, and a lack of true self-love.

I’ve chosen relationships that didn’t reflect what I deserved.

I’ve travelled the world searching for something more.

I’ve worked in industries that lacked meaning, and walked away.

I’ve used substances to quiet an anxious, overactive mind.

I’ve had disordered relationships with food shaped by the culture we live in.

And I’ve spent years unpacking trauma and learning how to regulate my nervous system.

I’m deeply sensitive and intuitive, so I’ve also had to learn how to stay grounded, clear my energy, and stay aligned.

I know what it feels like to grieve deeply.

To sit in depression and hopelessness.

To question everything.

And the truth is - I’m still a work in progress. Aren’t we all?

But every single thing I’ve lived… has become medicine.

Because now, I don’t just hold space for women - I support them with over 20 years of experience as a naturopath and herbalist, working in a deeply practical, whole-body way, which incorporates spiritual growth.

Through nutrition and nourishment.

Through gentle detox and supporting the body’s natural pathways.

Through herbal medicine and naturopathic care.

Through hands-on massage and vagal nerve exercises to calm the nervous system.

Through intuitive tuning in, energy work and ThetaHealing to shift subconscious patterns.

Through education, tools, and guidance that bring women back into connection with their bodies.

This is where real change happens - when the physical, emotional and energetic layers are all supported.

I work with women who are navigating burnout, mood imbalances, hormonal shifts, gut issues, and those moments where you simply don’t know what your body needs anymore.

Women who feel disconnected from themselves - yet know there must be another way.

My experiences seem to draw in women who feel safe with me. Women who feel seen, understood, and not judged. Women who recognise that I get it - but also trust that I can help guide them forward.

More recently, navigating perimenopause has been one of the most challenging health experiences of my life. The physical, emotional, and mental shifts can feel relentless - and at times, completely out of control.

It’s given me a deep understanding of why some women feel disconnected from, or unable to trust, their own bodies. And why many choose different paths, including HRT. There is no judgement here - only respect and support.

But it’s also deepened my knowledge, my empathy, and my ability to truly support women through this next stage of life. Not just our earlier fertile years, which is also a passion of mine.

A close friend recently told me she believes I’m here to love and care for people. And while that’s true… I think what I’ve really been placed here to do was to learn how to fully love myself - and then help other women do the same.

Because one of the most powerful experiences I witness in my work is transformation.

Seeing a woman recognise her patterns.

Understand her conditioning.

Release the pressure of impossible standards.

Reconnect with her body.

Prioritise her needs.

Reclaim her energy.

And most importantly - experience self-love, sometimes for the very first time.

There is nothing more fulfilling than witnessing a woman rise into who she truly is.

If this resonates with you…

If you’re ready to step off the hamster wheel and into a more grounded, powerful, and aligned version of yourself -

I’d love to support you.

Book an appointment or package when it feels right - but don’t ignore the nudge if you’re feeling it.

Your body’s already asking for change.

Take the step - this work matters.

And the more women who come back to themselves, the more this world changes for the better.

Let’s rise together,

Nic
